Hi all! Sorry for the hiatus. During the summer I work a crap job where I can’t wear nail polish. I’m back at school now and ready to start making more nail art!

My nails are actually quite short right now because the summer job required frequent handwashing that cracked my nails. So bear with me and I hope to be posting many new designs!

If I let you use one of my limited edition nail polishes, I consider you a best friend

Black polish with silver roses stamped on and a matte topcoat!

Used: licorice by Essie, Trixie by Zoya, and Matte About You by Essie

Fun matte fuchsia nails :)

Fun matte fuchsia nails :)

Sherlockian nails.

This is just stamped on with free hand smiley face. Essie licorice and blanc and Sally Hansen Xtreme Mellow Yellow.

The stamp I used wasn’t perfect but it was pretty darn close.

Sometimes life is cruel and takes away that which you love most.

My poor thumb nail (the left hand this time) broke off. The crack was actually way below my fingertip so I glued it, but the glue didn’t hold well to the longer nail so I had to cut it short.

Twice now I’ve gone through this thumb-nail-breaking-way-too-short faze. Ugh. I just ended up cutting all of my nails short so they can grow back together.

The nasty white stuff on my nail is dried nail glue, btw. I had to sand it off.

Peachy pink with darker peachy pink polka dots. :)

Lazy day nail look.

Tangerine Crush and Macaroon Me Madly by L’Oreal.

Bought some new Essie polishes :)

I’m excited about these, truly.

Left to right: Go Overboard, Stroke of Brilliance (a luxeffects multidimensional topcoat), Wicked, Devil’s Advocate, and Sand Tropez.

Maybe you’ve seen my Color Show collection. If not, know that I have the 40 original, and now like 8 of the limited edition ones.

These are all a part of the limited edition Spring line. From left to right: Orange Extreme (a glittery, electric orange), Coral Glow (a slight deeper coral than Color Show Coral Crush), and Blast of Blue.

Maybelline Color Shows will always hold a special place in my heart and nail polish collection because it was the brand that got me into nail polish and nail art in general. :)

This little guy is Rimmel’s Blue My Mind (same name as an earlier Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure I posted). This polish boasts full coverage in one coat and a one minute dry-time.
I didn’t have time to confirm these claims yet but I look forward to doing it soon!

Update: this polish actually lived up to its claims. One coat was enough to beautifully cover the nail and it was super fast drying. :)
